A tiger shark was captured in Port Aransas on Monday by a 13-year-old boy.

According to a Facebook post by Port Aransas South Jetty, 13-year-old  Micah Harless of Weatherfood reeled in a 11.6 ft, 844 pound Tiger Shark.

A Tiger Shark!!

A report from the New York Post states that the Tiger Shark is the second most dangerous shark, coming in behind the Great White.

I was dizzy just looking at the video of this massive beast, and I cannot, for the life of me, imagine reeling this thing in! Micah was on a 36-hour offshore trip with his father, and it took approximately 5 hours to reel the tiger shark in.

Myself, on the other hand, would have let go as soon as I discovered I hooked a shark.

Micah and his father planned to donate some of the shark meat and keep the rest for their family.
