Glenn and Buzz are BFF. Doesn't matter that one of them is blind. It doesn't matter that they are both dogs. They will not be separated.

Glenn is a blind Jack Russell Terrier, Buzz is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They are kind of like Laurel and Hardy, except they are English, and they are dogs. The two were found about three weeks ago living in a sea tunnel on their own. They are now at a shelter where Buzz is Glenn's guide dog.  They are always together, whining and barking if separated.

The two now live in what's called the Stray Aid Center near the tunnel where they were found. The two dogs need a permanent home, together.

One shelter worker says, "Buzz acts as Glenn's eyes and it's as simple as that. Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz. If they are separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed so they would need to have a loving home together

Buzz helps Glenn find his bed and his food, but workers say Glenn can run and play outside on his own.

Of course we are over here and they are across the pond. so we can't really help. But the good news is a lot of people have already contacted the shelter with questions about adopting the two.  Maybe by the time you read this, they will already have a forever home!

In that case think about adopting a shelter pet from a rescue near you.
