Hey Gang,

Had a few days off this week and decided to explore the town of Belton a bit before the bad weather arrived.

I don’t look at a town the same way as other people.  I like to look around and find things that are weird, or interesting to me.  One of the first places I always like to check out is a graveyard.  I’ve said it before,  you can tell a lot from a community by the way they treat the dead.  Beltons city graveyard is very well kept.  Plus, they have a structure that would be perfect for one of my other “grand” ideas.  Getting married in a graveyard; all your relatives can be on hand, even the dead ones; an abundance of flowers already decorate the place;  and look at this perfect reception area…anyone up for the Monster Mash?

A healthy “downtown” is also nice to see.  Amy from Britt Drug  comes in once a week to help out James on the morning show, so I figured I'd stop in and take a look around.  Found these cool pop sickle makers.

Since “Professionals” have told me to shed weight or die, I now like to look for walking areas.  Found a nice one just off the downtown area, and in eye sight of a jail.  Don’t know if any prisoners hang out there, but to look out a cell window and see people walking around free is kind of funny, in a sick and demented way.

Plus I found where babies come from.

Belton also has plenty of restaurants.  I’d be leery of this one though.  I never ate a cricket on purpose.

Sorry.  Couldn't help myself.  Curious, am I the only the that sees the word “cricket” and still thinks bugs?

The city of Belton has a lot to offer "normal" people, and a few things for the "out of the boxers".  Thanks Belton for a good day.
