Black Terra Hot Dog – Tokyo Restaurant Sells Black Hot Dog (Video)

Japan has been known to turn out some "strange" food. Even more strange than sushi I mean.  A while back Burger King introduced a "black" burger.  It's called the Premium Kuro Burger and it comes with black buns and dark ketchup, but the burger and veggies kept their "normal" color.  Well Vegas Premium Hot-Dogs has tried to "one up" the major chain with The Black Terra Hot Dog

Now growing up around the BBQ Grill I have to admit, my favorite grilled hot dog, is a burnt dog.  It seems the longer you cook processed food, the better it tastes, but this might be pushing it.  The problem, I imagine, is that your taste buds don't know what to expect.  You know that when you expect one thing and get something else, a gag reflex happens,  but with this, what taste should you be expecting?  Charcoal? I used to work for a meat processing plant that made hot dogs for one of the baseball teams on the West Coast.  They have a large Japanese fan base and the hot dogs we made had chunks of...something blended into the hot dog.  Can't wait till this is brought over.  Hopefully they taste better than licorice.  For a more in-depth report...
