All of us want to relax by the beach sometimes. For some, it might be all the time. Personally, a beach trip now and again wouldn't be frowned upon - that's for sure.

Some of us, myself included, can't make that treasured trip to be ocean-side. Which is a sad thought in itself, but it appears that there is a way to feel like you're at the beach, without the possibility of getting sunburnt.

This Airbnb certainly looks weird at initial viewing, but trust me, it's a sight to behold. Located in Austin, it's design is sure to turn heads.

But how did this getaway come to be? Well, according to the listing:

Two UT architecture students decided to build an escape from society that would become a monument to man and nature. Their goal was a home that would not only protect you from the elements but allow you to live in harmony with the environment. They wanted this quixotic vision to provide a place of peace and isolation, a place so far removed that for many years there was no physical address.

That certainly was explained way better than I could.

Sadly, this house was almost lost due unforeseen circumstances, but in 2017, former mayor Dave Claunch bought it and began renovations. Now, the house is welcoming guests again.

This $170M Texas Ranch With 65,000 Acres Is a Dog Lover’s Dream Home

Mesa Vista, the 65,000-acre Panhandle ranch, which belonged to oil billionaire T. Boone Pickens until his death three years ago, has been up for sale since 2017. The list of mind-blowing amenities is long, but for the price it's quite a deal!

The property includes its own golf course, a chapel with a memory garden, an airport with a private apartment for the pilot, and a 40-unit kennel, complete with a bronze dog sculpture in front of the building. Pickens, who was an avid hunter and dog lover, told Land Report in 2015Back when I couldn’t afford one bird dog, I had two. When I couldn’t afford two, I had three.”
