There's women who shouldn't be there, drinking on campus, one dude pouring mustard on himself for no reason AND TOGA TOGA TOGA! Also, Otis Day And The Knights are on hand to provide the music, and you can't go wrong with that.

Wait, Dave, what? Thought this was a list of the best PARTY movies. That up there, looks like a horror movie. Guys got a knife and everything. What gives? Well, smack in the middle of this deep dark horror movie, out of nowhere, a simple party scene goes to another level, coordinated hopping about choreography and all, interspersed with an attempted knifing out by the pool. When people say Tom Hanks used to be funny, this is the early stuff they are referring to. And, oh my goodness, what a landmark film this was on my cranial development. Hanks is all over the coolest guy in the room, flip, crude, brilliant. And yet, as Rick Gasco, he somehow manages to be the voice of sanity and reason in this four ring circus of a movie. One does not know where to start in this, simply one of the best party movies ever. The donkey? Nick the exotic dancer? Adrian Zmed?

We've all seen the part of the teen movie where they throw a big party when the parents are out of town. This one, however, escalates to the point where another movie series, Mad Max, interrupts the whole thing. Add in a terrific mid-80's soundtrack, flying couches and early douchebag role king Robert Downy Jr. and you've got a classic bit of cinematic partying.

and, now, NUMBER ONE:

Hands down, this is my favorite, a full length excursion in a swinging sixties party, most of it improvised on set, where everything is happening at once. This is Mad Magazine splash panel come to life, a party rollercoaster screaming straight off the rails, and at the center of the hurricane, blissfully ignorant of the epic disaster he's causing, Peter Sellers. Yes. The construction of each gag is amazing. And they pretty much made it up as they went along. Birdy Num Nums? Yes, please.

P.S: Speaking of parties, here's a little girl staring on on the subway. CHECK IT OUT!
