A girl on the cusp of her adolescence moves to the big city with her parents and experiences all the angst and sadness that comes along with that situation. The twist? The movie is told largely from the perspective of the emotions staffing her mental control room. And then Sadness causes havoc and an epic quest through the theme park like environs of the girl's mental landscape ensues. Does the film strike a balance between wacky cartoon antics and the deep well of emotions it's delineating. Does it slid ham handed into a bottomless pool of Kleenex abetted treacle? Watch the review and enjoy!
