I will not make any ground beef and bbq sauce jokes, but folks, I just love me some Sloppy Joes.  I wonder where that name comes from, does the whole band love Sloppy Joes?  Can they make Sloppy Joes? Does somebody’s Mama make Sloppy Joes? But I digress, as usual!

Sloppy Joe Band will be on the Miller Park Stage Friday night, as Temple’s Hot Summer Sounds Concert Series continues.  It’s a FREE concert, thanks to Scott and White Health Plan.

So you are wondering what kind of music do they play?  The answer is just about everything! From rock, pop, and country to soul, R&B, and funk, Sloppy Joe Band plays all kinds of music from the 50's to what's hot now.

Be sure to bring your friends and family, something to sit or lay on, and something to eat and drink.  There will be a food vendor in the park.  The splash pads will be open for those restless children.

Hot Summer Sounds is free and open to the public. Concerts are held every Friday night at 7:30 p.m.at Miller Park (1919 North 1st street), through July 24th. For more information visit TempleParks.com or call (254) 298-5440.
