High speed drone racing? Yes, please!

The 2019 Texas FPV (First Person View) Winter Nationals will be held Saturday, December 7th at the West Temple Community Park Soccer Field -  8420 Delaware Avenue in Temple just off West Adams Avenue.

Racers will be there at 9 to set up and get a feel for the track, and the event opens to the public at 11 AM. Spectators can enter a free raffle for a $200 gift card from GetFPV.com to help newcomers get started on their own FPV drone.

There'll also be free Domino's Pizza for racers and spectators alike.

These aren't your everyday consumer drones. They're built for racing, and can reach speeds faster than most of our cars. They're equipped with cameras that transmit to goggles worn by the racers, and you'll be able to see what they're seeing thanks to monitors that'll be set up at the event.

If you're into drones, want to get started, or just want to get out on a Saturday and see something cool happening here in Temple, mark your calendar for December 7, 11 AM. Thanks to GetFPV, Foxeer, Tattu, and Mode for sponsoring this awesome event.
